Dr. Christopher C. Doss received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering in Spring, 1994 from the University of South Florida. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University in Spring, 1997 and 2001, respectively. While working on his Ph.D., Dr. Doss served as an instructor at Wake Technical Community College, where he worked until Summer 2001. Dr. Doss currently holds an AssociateProfessor position at Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, North Carolina A & T State University. Dr.Doss’ current research interests focus on the design and implementation of applications on reconfigurable computing systems for assistive domotics, and utilizing mobile technology for STEM education. His current active research centers on developing interactive systems that provide educational tools on several platforms, including smartphones, tablets and desktops. This research also includes the development of new tools.
