Research

My research interests include musculoskeletal biomechanics particularly in the hand/wrist and upper extremity, foot/ankle.  Also I am interested in understanding soft tissues.  Currently I use finite element analysis (FEA) to understand these systems but am also interested in whole body simulation, and kinematics.  Applications include the study of total joint arthroplasty, arthritis, diabetes, health disparities.
