Teaching

My philosophy on teaching stems from rich personal experiences as a teacher and a learner, at multiple educational levels and institutions, including my alma mater North Carolina A&T State University. I have learned that every interaction between a knowledgeable person (teacher) and person seeking knowledge (student) can have a profound impact on ideas, understanding, personal feelings, and educational trajectory.  With such an awesome responsibility and opportunity, I strive to create student focused, dynamic, adaptive learning experiences, both in and out of the classroom.  These experiences have led me to be the teacher and often the student, though I wear the title “Assistant Professor”.
